The performances from American concert pianist and Steinway Artist, Susan Merdinger, have been hailed as "spectacular," "exhilarating," "breathtaking," and "tender and impassioned." Internationally acclaimed, she made her New York Debut in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, as a winner of the Artists International Young Musicians Competition, and performed a solo recital in Merkin Concert Hall as a Winner of the Artists International Distinguished Alumni Award. She has appeared in major concert halls in Europe and the USA as a recitalist and soloist with orchestras. Most recently, she was First Prize Winner of the 2012 Bradshaw and Buono International Piano Competition and the 2013 International Music Competition of France. Merdinger is a Visiting Artist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Chamber Music Series, and has released several CD's of solo piano, duo piano and chamber music, available on CDBaby, iTunes and Amazon.
Ms. Merdinger made a triumphant Chicago Orchestral Debut at the Harris Theater on June 14, 2013 in a program entitled "The Italian and American Gems," sponsored by University of Illinois-Chicago and the Italian Consulate General. Performing two works by American composer Louis Moreau Gottschalk and Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue with the Chicago Philharmonic under the direction of the distinguished Italian conductor and Sony Classical Artist, Mattia Rondelli, Ms. Merdinger received a standing ovation and two immediate invitations for orchestral solo engagements in 2014.

Merdinger is a faculty member at The New Music School in Chicago, the Summit Music Festival in Purchase, New York, the Burgos Music Festival in Spain, and Fine Arts Music Society Festival in Brown County, Indiana.
